The films by best friends George Clooney and Brad Pitt will be the highlight of the star-studded line-up of the Toronto International Film Festival this year.

Opening on September 8, organizers of this year’s Toronto Film Fest announce that Bennett Miller’s “Moneyball” starring Pitt and “The Descendants” featuring Clooney will have their world premieres in the eleven-day event.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Canadian film gathering has served as an essential venue for highly acclaimed films naming “Black Swan” and “The King’s Speech” as among the A-list films that had had their early stops at the Toronto festival.

Other films featured in the film fest include “360” starring Jude Law and Anthony Hopkins; “Butter” by Kim Field Smith starring Jennifer Garner and Marc Forster’s “Machine Gun Preacher”.

The festival also listed North American movies including “A Dangerous Method” starring Viggo Mortensen and “The Ides of March” again starring Clooney and Ryan Gosling.
