The former undisputed No. 1 golfer in the world, Tiger Woods has reached his 14-year low after ranking 21st in Official World Golf Rankings in July.

The 35-year-old golfer has tumbled from eighth to 21st since he was under the radar since May 201. Woods had been sidelined in major tournaments due to his injury and he was last seen teeing at the nine hole of The Players Championship at Sawgrass when he quit due to left knee and Achilles tendon injuries.

Woods was unbeatable for eleven long years said the Irish Times, as he held the No.1 spot in different spells. And stumbling out of the top 20 has Woods reached his lowest rank since he held the same rank at 22nd in January 1997.

Don’t we really need to be reminded of how far Tiger Woods had fallen since his fall in November 2009 when he announced taking a break to focus on his marriage and his family.

Woods is considered one among the most successful golfers of all time. Before the unfortunate sex scandals that clouded his career, the father of two is the highest-paid professional athlete in the world, who had recorded an estimated U$90.5 million from his winnings and endorsements in 2010.

The former No. 1 has won 14 professional major golf championships and has more career major wins and career PGA Tour wins than any other professional golfer.

Meanwhile, Woods is expected to return to tee at the Bridgestone WGC Championship at Firestone and all eyes is set on the golfer as to which caddie will he take with him after he fired his long-time partner, Steve Williams.
