After putting on a clinic against Chris Algieri, Manny Pacquiao declared, with no hesitation, that he is ready to fight Floyd Mayweather.

The fighting congressman from the Philippines won round after round from the get-go, scoring six knockdowns in the process, showing the world that he still has much left in the tank even at 36.

Pacman's passion and killer instinct, which were observed to have tapered off during his previous bouts, were among the significant questions coming into the match, but he was able to give the doubters the best possible answer by dominating the undefeated American.

"Tonight, I did my best," Pacquiao said immediately after he was announced as winner.

"I'm satisfied with my performance tonight."

"We improved our strenghth, we did more heavy bag training."

He almost had the fight stopped in the 9th round, wherein he landed a solid straight to Algieri's chin, which made the latter hit the canvass. But for some reason, the 30-year-old still managed to get to his feet and survive until the 12th and last round.

"I'm looking for a knockout, but he's fast, he's moving," he added.

When he was asked of the possibility of finally meeting Mayweather inside the ring, Pacquiao's answer was short and sweet.

"I think I'm ready to fight next year [2015] (sic) for him," he disclosed.

"I really want that fight. The fans deserve that fight.''
