Boxing trainer Freddie Roach is rather unconvinced that the superfight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will have a possibility of coming to fruition in 2015, as claimed by Top Rank chief Bob Arum.

Disagreements between parties regarding the distribution of wealth, so to speak, has been the perceived hindrance, while others, including "Pacman" himself, claim that "Money" is just afraid of facing the 35-year-old Filipino because there's a good probability that the American's perfect record might be blemished.

"I hope it's true, but I don't see it happening. I don't see it," Roach told ESPN.

"It's been three to four years. It should have happened by now."

Fighting congressman Pacquiao is set to go toe-to-toe against another undefeated in Chris Algieri on Sunday, and Roach is pretty sure that a positive outcome in their favour would complicate things all the more.

"What makes it different this time? If Manny looks good against Algieri, it will make Mayweather say no even more," he continued.

"So I just laugh at all this. Negotiating the money alone won't happen."

"They'll never agree on the split Mayweather wants. There's a lot of work to be done, and I don't think it's possible."
