In spite heading into the fight as the perceived underdog, Devon Alexander is confident that he will be able to destroy Amir Khan, and land the biggest fight of his career against Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao in the process.

His 21-fight winning streak was put to a halt by Timothy Bradley in 2011, but was able to bounce back against the likes of Lucas Matthysse and Marcos Maidana. It's been a year since suffered his recent setback in the hands of Shawn Porter, and is seemingly ready to get back to the bigger stage.

"I feel great I'm at the mom grand. It's my first time in [Las] Vegas, so I feel great. I'm energetic and I'm ready to show Vegas that they got a new star," said Alexander.

While humble enough to admit that the bout could go either way, the fighter dubbed as "Alexander the Great" is convinced that his will, coupled by his tactical nous, will give him the victory.

"I'm gonna bring more heart. This is a 50/50 fight. The difference [in] this fight is my skill and my heart," he added.

"[There is] nothing that he [is] going to do, that's gonna stop me from winning [on] Saturday night."

Should the St. Louis, Missouri native score an upset on Dec. 13, he may effectively be placed in front of the queue to face "Pacman" or "Money."

"After this fight, I'm gonna be on the top of the echelon and I expect to get one of the big fights," he continued.

"Floyd, Manny, it doesn't matter. My whole career I've fought some top guys...I'll take them all down."
