A tragedy struck earlier today at the Boston Marathon when an explosion took place taking the lives of innocent victims. Everyone including Hollywood celebrities has been sending out prayers and condolences to those affected by the explosion. From Kim Kardashian to Britney Spears, here are all the celebrities who have reacted to the horrific event.

What could have been an enjoyable event turned out to be the most shocking event of the year. The Boston Marathon that took place Monday afternoon has been the target of alleged terrorism. Two explosions near the finish line occurred just before 3:00 pm E.T. that took two lives and caused the injuries of over a hundred people.

More than twenty seven thousand runners had participated in the event as a celebration of Patriot's Day only to be subject to acts of violence. In an updated report by Reuters, almost 130 people were found injured. The Boston Police Department are currently investigating the scene. A third incident had again taken place at the JFK Library in Boston and police are stating these two events could be related.

"We are not sure if these incidents are related, but we are treating them as if they are," stated Ed Davis, Police Chief, adding, "An unexploded device was also recovered."
