Shoppers thinking of getting a BlackBerry PRIV as a gift this Valentine’s Day can buy it from the official BlackBerry online store. The company is offering a BlackBerry PRIV bundle that includes free accessories until Feb. 24.

The BlackBerry PRIV bundle includes two of the best selling accessories – PRIV Leather Smart Flip Case (Black) and PRIV Sync Pod with a 1.2m USB cable. The PRIV comes with a price tag of US$699 (AU$987). Buying the PRIV bundle would save US$100 (AU$141).

Made of fine genuine leather, the Smart Flip Case allows the user to make calls and use Android Pay with the cover on. A small window at the top lets you see the notifications. The Sync Pod can be used to securely place the device in an upright position. It can also be used to charge the device and transfer data from PRIV to your PC or laptop.

The BlackBerry PRIV comes with both physical and virtual keyboards. It has a sliding QWERTY keyboard under the dual-curve touchscreen display.

Starting Jan. 26, the smartphone is also available on T-Mobile’s retail locations and on its online store. The carrier is offering the Android-based smartphone with a sliding keyboard at US$719.99 (AU$1,027) which works out to be US$30 (AU$43) per month for two years for $0 down, reports Phone Arena.

The BlackBerry PRIV on T-Mobile sports a 5.4-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the PRIV is powered by 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and houses 32GB of in-built storage.

With the BlackBerry PRIV, the company ventured into the world of Android for the first time. AT&T was the maiden US carrier to launch the new Android powered device in the United States.
