'Black Sails'

Max and the others will have to constantly look over their shoulders in “Black Sails” Season 4. The intriguing plot of the TV series promises more twists and turns before the grand finale. Meanwhile, the marketing team of the show has announced a new contest for the fans.

The first trailer of the next season previously teased some of the scenes of all the major characters on the show. Highlighting one of the scenes, the official Twitter page of the TV series teased that Max (Jessica Parker Kennedy) will not be the only one looking over her shoulder.

The trailer shows Max on a horse going away from a town in what maybe the island of Nassau. She carefully looks over her shoulder to make sure she isn’t being followed. The character emerged as a major player on the island after she came to control the brothel and with that all the information in the island.

The main plot of “Black Sails” Season 4 is no longer about the Urca gold. Instead the goal of the pirates has become grander. Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) and the others plan to take on the British Empire with their army of pirates and former slaves.

While the fans wait for the next season, they can take part in a new contest that was announced on the Twitter page of the TV series. The fans have to post pictures of their pumpkin carvings, depicting some aspect of the TV series, for a chance to win a prize. The announcement did not reveal what the prize will be.

“Black Sails” Season 4 is set to premiere on Jan. 29, 2017. Familiar pirates like Blackbeard (Ray Stevenson) will return. Meanwhile, the season will also mark the rise of John Silver (Luke Arnold) as a major character.
