'Black Sails'

Fans across the globe will be able to watch “Black Sails” Season 4, thanks to a deal between Starz and Vimeo. The deal allows the studio to take its original content to more than 150 countries.

Starz announced in a press release that Vimeo has launched its global television store in partnership with Lionsgate and Starz. So, audience across the globe will now be able to watch “Orange is the New Black,” “Casual,” “The Royals,” “Mad Men,” “Weeds,” “The Girlfriend Experience,” “Ash vs Evil Dead” and “Black Sails.”

“As audiences across the globe continue to shift towards online viewing, Vimeo is taking a leadership role, establishing our On Demand storefront as the world’s first transactional service to offer premium television on a truly global basis” said Sam Toles, Senior Vice President, Programming in the press release. Chief Operating Officer at Starz Jeffrey Hirsch added that Starz is “very pleased” to join hands with Vimeo to bring its original content to a global audience.

A few weeks back Starz released the first full trailer of “Black Sails” Season 4, which will mark the end of the popular TV series. The show tells the story of the pirates of Nassau and their struggle against the British Empire.

The trailer for the final season of the TV series teased another big war between the pirates and the British forces. The video promised the rise of legends in the coming battle. One character who will be particularly important in this season is Long John Silver (Luke Arnold).

Starz has not announced a spin-off TV series of Long John Silver after “Black Sails” Season 4. The final season of the TV series is set to premiere on Jan. 29, 2017. Familiar pirates such as Captain Flint (Toby Stephens), Rackham (Toby Schmitz), Billy Bones (Tom Hopper) and Blackbeard (Ray Stevenson) will be back to entertain the fans one last time.
