Bernadette is getting back to work, and there is nothing more dreadful than leaving her newborn baby in a day care center. This week in “The Big Bang Theory” season 10 episode 21, the new parents have no choice but to leave Halley while Bert is having the best time of his life.

After her maternity leave, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) is getting back to work. However, the new mom is having separation anxiety from Halley. This anxiety issue will also bother her husband Howard (Simon Helberg).

In the previous episode, Bernadette struggled to accept that her maternity leave is almost over. She asked Stuart (Kevin Sussman) not to tell Howard that she is upset, knowing that she would soon need to leave her baby. Howard eventually realized that his wife is having a hard time accepting the inevitable.

Elsewhere, Bert (Brian Posehn) introduces his new girlfriend to Sheldon (Jim Parson), Amy (Mayim Bialik), Leonard (Leonard Hofstadter), Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar). In the upcoming episode titled “The Separation Agitation,” Bert and girlfriend Rebecca (April Bowlby) drop by at Leonard and Penny’s apartment.

Of course, Sheldon will not let the meeting pass without commenting on the new pair. “She [Rebecca] is younger and far more attractive that he [Bert] is. They are copying you two,” he tells Leonard, referring to his friend’s relationship with Penny.

TV Guide shares a synopsis for “The Big Bang Theory” season 10 episode 21, which suggests that the group has some doubts about Rebecca’s true intention for Bert. They think that she is a gold digger. Is she?

It can be recalled that Bert started exploring G Harmony, a dating app for geologists. He, however, was stood up on his first date. In episode 16, he ended up joining Amy and Sheldon’s date night where he told the couple how he admires their relationship, except for their once a year coitus.

It caused Amy and Sheldon's first major fight since their cohabitation started. Bert then apologized to Sheldon for causing the argument between the couple. Sheldon, on the other hand, revealed to those having lunch at the Caltech canteen that Bert got stood up on a date and is looking for a partner.

Meanwhile, “Fun with Flags” is coming back in this week’s episode. This time around, Amy and Sheldon will be joined by Howard and Raj, who will sing what sounds like the new jingle for Sheldon’s online show.

“The Big Bang Theory” season 10 episode 21 will air on Thursday (April 13) at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS. The series also airs in Channel Nine in Australia.
