Bethesda has been getting a lot of attention these past couple of months for both the upcoming “Fallout 4” and the hit mobile game “Fallout Shelter.” Now Bethesda is taking a new and unique approach in marketing by using one of the popular “Fallout” figures as a single looking for a partner on the dating app Tinder.

Vault-Tec’s Vault Boy has been given his own Tinder profile recently, Kotaku reports. This move is likely a strategy devised by Bethesda to gain more players or Vault-Tec overseers for “Fallout Shelter.” Vault Boy’s profile reads, “Build a brighter future together ... underground! Swipe right to be selected as a Vault-Tec overseer and create the perfect underground community!”

Aside from the statement, other information on Vault Boy’s account includes his love for Nuka Cola, putting out fires, taking coffee breaks and exploring the wasteland, all of which are part of the core gameplay of “Fallout Shelter.” His favourite quote, "If love was radiation, I'd need a box of RadAways," is also an ode to the “Fallout” series.

It seems Bethesda exerted a lot of effort into making the Tinder account as Vault Boy’s is also filled with the character's photos which show him busy inside the Vault. Tinder users will see him at a lab, holding some medical equipment which is clearly similar to the lab found in the mobile game. Vault Boy can also be seen in full armour as he is preparing to battle fires which occur frequently in “Fallout Shelter.”

When users swipe right on Vault Boy's Tinder profile, the Vault Boy Tinder account will like back the profile of the user and will also send a download link to the app for their corresponding devices. The mobile game, for both iOS and Android, has been receiving good reviews lately. However, the release of the game for Android brought with it a bug that potentially ruins the progress of a player, as reported by Techtimes. Bethesda is still yet to announce a remedy to the bug.
