Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato's friendship might have suffered a falling out early this year but things appear to be going well for the BFF's. Well, it looks like things have always been the same despite rumours claiming otherwise. Lovato's recent interview in fact states Gomez has always been there for her from the beginning even when things were rough.

Former Disney stars Selena and Demi are the epitome of friendship forever. Despite the rumours about them feuding, these two manage to keep up with one another.

"I grew up with Demi, I've known her since I was seven...we've had our distance and we've had our moments, but she's one person that I will always love and she'll always have a place in my heart," stated Gomez.

While Demi was obviously absent at Selena's birthday party, the two have hung out more constantly these past few days. The two have managed to keep their friendship stronger thanks to Demi's fall from grace. "Lovatics" may recall that she had gone through rehab. Thankfully, Lovato had Selena to lean on through such trying times.

"Thankfully my family and friends supported me in rehab and everything I went through. Nick especially & Selena ..she called me crying while I was in rehab and she was very worried," explained Lovato, adding, "Hey! I should be crying! It's okay.' She was very generous and provided that we were getting closer."

In fact, Selena did more than just call up Demi during her rehabilitation. According to a report by TMZ, the "Come & Get It" singer went as far as going to a recovery group alongside Demi Lovato.

"Demi spoke to the group for an hour telling an inspiring personal survival story. She recalled anorexia, bulimia and cutting. Demi said wanted to surround herself with positive influences, which is why she chose to live in the facility for an extended period and why she values Selena as a friend," added the report.

Taylor Swift might have been with Gomez countless times through 2013 but Selena stuck with Demi through thick and thin - even without the need for photo evidence.
