Fans who were hoping that there’s something romantic brewing between Ben Affleck and Sienna Miller will be disappointed with the latest news. Sources have revealed that the two are not dating, and that there are “no signs of a romance” between Affleck and Miller.

The dating speculations between the two Hollywood stars started when Affleck and Miller were photographed holding hands while filming their new period movie, “Live By Night.” According to an Us Weekly report, Affleck and Miller were seen hanging out at a Los Angeles studio on Monday, Dec. 7. Miller was still dressed in her character's clothes from 1920s, while the 43-year-old actor was in street clothes. Affleck and Miller were also seen laughing together, as they enjoyed takeout food during a break from filming.

However, sources told People magazine that there’s nothing romantic going on between the two Hollywood stars. Affleck and Miller play love interests in the movie “Live By Night,” the two sources said, adding, but they’re “not in a real-life relationship.” Apart from starring in the film as one of the protagonists, Affleck also serves as a screenwriter and a director.

"He has had some special scenes with Sienna, including kissing scenes,” the first source told People magazine. “They seem to get along great, but Ben has acted very professional."

The second source also mentioned that the paparazzi have present on the filming location “every day” while they were doing the project. "These photos are often used out of context,” the insider stated. “He is a great director who likes to hang out on set with those he is directing."

Affleck, who split from former wife Jennifer Garner in July, has been busy with his various movie projects. The first source shared with People magazine that Affleck “seems very happy” with his latest directorial project, “Live By Night.” The source added that the actor has been “very chatty and friendly” and that he “makes sure to create a fun and positive work environment.”

Affleck’s “Live By Night” is scheduled to hit movie theatres in 2017.
