Celine Dion is set to sing a new song titled “How Does a Moment Last Forever” for the 2017 film adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast.” The track is written by eight-time Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Tim Rice.

In a press release, Dion has confirmed that she will perform a new song for the upcoming movie 25 years after she sang a duet version of “Beauty and the Beast” with Peabo Bryson for the 1991 animated film. She described her involvement in the original “Beauty and the Beast” as a magical experience of her life. “And I'm truly honored to be a part of this film again,” she said.

President of music for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Production Mitchell Leib said Dion is the common choice of the filmmakers and the studio to perform “How Does a Moment Last Forever.” He further shared that everyone involved in the project is thrilled that she agreed to be part of the live-action adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast.”

Disney has previously announced that Ariana Grande and John Legend will do a re-recording of the film’s title track. Both artists have confirmed the news through their respective social media accounts.

The “Dangerous Woman” singer posted a selfie taken in a place which seemed to be a recording studio. She uploaded her post with a rose emoticon. Legend also posted a photo of himself at a recording studio on his Twitter account.
