Paul McCartney, one of the most popular members of the 'The Beatles' shows no signs of getting old especially when it comes to making good music even at the age of 70.

It seems that retirement is still a long way to go for the music icon especially with the prestigious gigs he has to attend to ahead of him. He has the opening ceremony for the London Olympics to do by next month after having wowed a large crowd during the Diamond Jubilee celebration of Queen Elizabeth II.

According to the amazing singer-song writer, even at his not so young age, he still enjoys the entire life of being a performer and a musician. He shared with the British Music magazine that last year that he does not consider himself working hard when he simply plays music.

McCartney has been able to write almost 50 with 10 of those as hit singles. He is currently finishing a world tour and has introduced his latest album entitled 'Kisses on the Bottom.'

As he performed on stage recently at the Buckingham Palace, McCartney appeared like a young man as he was then during the early parts of his career and not a man who has eight grandkids.

Who Is Paul McCartney?

McCartney was born in northwest England and met fellow band member the late John Lennon when he was 15. They first formed a band called the Quarrymen which later on turned out to be The Beatles.

It did not take long before McCartney and the rest of the band, Lennon, Harrison and Starr became the object of screams of a lot of fans along with their haircuts in mop-top.

Since then, they have become one of the most iconic influences of their own era and became the bestselling band in all music history.
