The countdown to a new trailer for “Batman: Arkham Knight” has begun. Fueling the anticipation of fans are two trailers, aptly titled “3 days,” “2 days” and “1 day” respectively.

The first two trailers, according to Game Informer, have teased two returning characters, Catwoman and Azrael. The latest “Batman: Arkham Knight” teaser trailer countdown teases Nightwing in a 16-seconder character reveal. As mentioned in the trailers, a new full-length trailer is expected on April 27, titled “All Who Follow You.”

In teasing Catwoman’s countdown trailer, the official “Batman Arkham” Twitter page had another playful hint, asking fans if the character is appearing as a friend or a foe in the final installment, “Batman: Arkham Knight.” For Azrael, he was touted as one of the iconic characters in the Arkhamverse

If the teaser trailers are not enough, there are also some new characters uncovered in the official “Batman: Arkham Knight” website. GamerCenterOnline has spotted four character bios, which are for Nightwing, Catwoman, Azrael and Robin.

To check out the character bios, go the website’s link above. For the first tab for Person of Interest, type in “flyinggraysons” to unlock Nightwing’s character bio. To check out Catwoman’s character bio, type “parkrow” in the tab. To get both Azrael and Robin, type “suit of sorrows” for Azrael and “bostaff” to get the respective bios.

There are some hints of the role of the four revealed chracters. For Robin, or Tim Drake, his description states that he had been following the adventures of Batman and Robin after he had witnessed Batman in action on the night of the Flying Graysons’ murder. He then learned the identity of the Caped Crusader and pursued to become his sidekick. Apart from her origin as Selina Kyle and ambiguous yet flirty relationship with Batman, Catwoman’s whereabouts since the shutdown of Arkham City had been very minimal except for some burglaries that have her hints on it.

Arkhamverse has the screenshots of the tabs for Nightwing and Azrael. Nightwing’s story sees him moving out of Batman’s shadow to become his own person and hero in Bludhaven, which explains why Robin has now moved in to take his place as the Dark Knight’s sidekick. In Azrael’s case, he may be making a bigger impact for ‘Batman: Arkham Knight.” According to the official description, while he watched from the shadows in “Arkham City,” it appears that he will have a new mission in the upcoming game.

It is interesting to see that, of the spotted persons of interest on the website, only three have made it to the countdown trailers. It’s likely that fans will see Robin in the full-length trailer.
