She poured her heart out, wrote a song and even showed her creative flair by making a special present, but in the end, Eliza St John ended up being booted off from “The Bachelor” Australia mansion.

It was another shocking and tearful elimination on Channel 10’s romantic reality show, as Richie Strahan sent the 31-year-old event coordinator packing. Based on what she said prior to leaving the show – that she feels a mutual attraction between her and Richie – Eliza certainly did not see it coming. Her sweet gift – a blue rose she put together using just ribbon – turned out to be a parting gift. She sprung for the little present to show her appreciation for this year’s bachelor.

“He has been such a wonderful man along the journey and I wanted to give a gift that represents how thankful I am,” Eliza told Woman’s Day. “He said that it was really sweet and he appreciated it.”

While the brunette beauty admitted that she felt hurt for being eliminated after opening up to Richie, she said they were probably better off as friends because they are both “goofy and out-there.” She was sad to say goodbye to the other women at the house, however, after treating them like a family.

Eliza may not have become the last woman standing on “The Bachelor” Australia, but it seems she has moved on from the whole experience. Things are certainly looking bright for her, both in her love life and career-wise. She told Woman's Day that she's busy doing a one-woman, 70-minute show. On her Facebook page, she shared previous information about "V.D.," which is about someone trying to find love and getting a cat in every year of failing to do so.

Despite seeing herself ending up with Richie, Eliza reveals that it would take a big personality to match hers. She claims, “I think I’m more of a wing girl at the end of the day!” However, it seems that she had found her match – she’s now happily in a relationship with someone she met at a party. “He’s really lovely and he’s embracing all of the queen of cray and he’s great,” Eliza shared with news.com.au. “I’m crazy about him, too.”

“The Bachelor Australia" airs every Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. on Network Ten.
