Keira Maguire may appear outspoken and brutally honest, but there is something about how she was raised that she never revealed before.

A report by news.com.au says that the 30-year-old grew up in a polygamist cult in Victoria which her father, Alistah Laishkochav, founded after leaving New Zealand in the 1970s. Laishkochav reportedly proclaimed himself to be a messiah and married 9 wives that altogether bore 63 children in Bells Beach. It is also reported that they were shut off from most of the outside world and believed that those who were not amongst them were evil.

Laishkochav was convicted of 20 child sex offences in 2000 after the cult broke apart and he later dies in jail.

While Keira confirms some of the story, she says that she is not in a proper position to comment on his father. She reveals that her mother removed her from that environment at the early age of five and brought her up with her grandmother in Brisbane in a loving, caring, compassionate household. She adds that her childhood was wonderful and she is very grateful to her mother and grandmother for the ideal upbringing which they have provided. She has never had a relationship with her biological father.

While one bachelorette makes a stunning revelation about her past, another one shocks the audience with a walkout.

Pedestrian reveals that Megan Marx has reportedly walked out of “The Bachelor,” leaving Richie Strahan heartbroken. All hopes of the two falling in love has just been cast out.

It is also reported that the 27-year-old walked out because she discovered that Richie’s intentions were not pure and genuine. Megan allegedly left a handwritten note to the remaining girls which explained her firm decision. The letter briefly states that she did not think that Richie was being honest with himself by keeping Keira in for the show’s ratings. She felt that the whole process was fake, so she followed her out and just packed up.

All the remaining contestants were allegedly left crying. This is quite strange considering that the elimination of the audience favourite frontrunner has exponentially boosted their chances of winning.

Channel 10 has not released an official statement yet, but the real deal will be revealed in Wednesday. “The Bachelor Australia" airs every Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. on Network Ten.
