Washington D.C.'s Smithsonian National Zoo released a video of a baby giant panda enjoying the snow for the first time and the video has immediately gone viral worldwide. The cub’s name is Bao Bao and it is only 16 months old.

Celebrating her first snowfall on Jan. 6, Tuesday, Bao Bao was captured by the zoo's livecam as it rolled through the snow for a few seconds before playing in the flurries with her mother named Mei Xiang.

Born in August 2013, Bao Bao is one of the only two pandas born at The National Zoo to survive to her first birthday. In November, she showed signs of weaning off her mother as she nursed less and adjusted to a diet of solid food. In 2014, Bao Bao and Mei Xiang had started to spend less time together and sleep in separate enclosures.

In the 64-minute clip, the panda cub can be seen rolling downhill, playing with a block of wood, doing a backward somersault and eventually jumping on her mother. The video, titled “Bao Bao's First Snow Day!”, was published on Jan. 6, Tuesday, and has since been viewed almost 2 million times.
