‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Table Announced For ‘Zen Pinball’

It seems like Zen Studios can make virtual pinball tables about any franchise. Not only has the studio released tables based on “The Addams Family” and “The Walking Dead,” but they also announced a pinball table on “Star Wars: Rebels” fairly recently. They are now working on an “Avengers: Age of Ultron” pinball table for the company’s “Zen Pinball” games, which have proven to be immensely popular with the public.

The game table will feature the Avengers, so fans will be able to see Captain America lead Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow and Hawkeye into battle against the dreaded force known as Ultron. While the game is still a pinball simulator, Pocket Gamer revealed that the “Age of Ultron” pinball table will have character-specific mini-games like an FPS segment for Hawkeye and an aerial combat moment with Iron Man.

Zen Studios discussed the upcoming game table in the company blog and expressed excitement over making a pinball table for a movie that has not been released yet. The blog has described the experience as exhilarating and overwhelming, since the studio has to try really hard not to spoil the upcoming film while also being as faithful to it as possible.

This isn’t the first “Avengers” game to tie in to the upcoming sequel. Traveller’s Tales have previously announced “Lego Marvel’s Avengers,” which will follow the storylines of the first film and the upcoming “Age of Ultron” film that is set to hit theatres this month. A free-to-play mobile game called “Mighty Marvel Heroes” was released last week and had a trailer that involved various Marvel heroes taking on various copies of Ultron as a nice wink to moviegoers.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” will hit the virtual pinball tables of “Zen Pinball” on April 21 and will arrive on every major console; it will also be available on PC and various mobile devices. With the movie set to hit theatres in a few weeks, this pinball title is expected to entice Marvel fans everywhere who are excited to see their favourite superheroes take on a mad robot and his robot army.
