Ivanka Trump, the First Daughter of America, has reportedly hired Australian-born designer Caitlin "Cat" Williams as her stylist. The daughter of AmericanPresident Donald Trump is known for her sense of fashion and is always in the spotlight for outfits. Let's find out more about her new designer from Australia.

Williams studied Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney from 2005 to 2009 but is now based out of New York. Her resume boasts of her work with Micaela Erlanger, the woman responsible for the looks of many actresses including Meryl Streep and Lupita Nyong’o. In May 2016, Erlanger also styled Ivanka in a Ralph Lauren jumpsuit for the Meta Gala event.

Williams previously worked at Vogue Australia and Harper's Bazaar Australia. When in Vogue, she worked closely with fashion director Christine Centenera, who worked with Kim Kardashian's and her husband Kanye West on his Yeezy line. According to Vogue, she quit the magazine in 2014 to work as a stylist in New York under Erlanger. The website added that Williams married her Australian fiancé in 2016 in a country ceremony in Bowral, a town in New South Wales, Australia.

The news has not yet been confirmed by Ivanka Trump. Williams' Linkedin profile does not provide information about her new job as Ivanka's personal stylist or designer. However, Erlanger has confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that she is not working with her anymore.

It is unclear how long Ivanka has used the services of Williams, but various websites are reporting that she is the designer responsible for the recent dresses Ivanka has been wearing post-elections. The First Daughter's personal style has undergone a change since she shifted to Washington D.C. to stay close to her president dad.

According to Daily Mail, Ivanka previously wore dresses mostly from her own fashion line, which were chic yet affordable. However, more recently, the mom-of-three has not been seen wearing her own label at all.

Ivanka was recently in the news for wearing a dress by French designer Roland Mouret when she attended a ceremony to watch her father speak to Congress. The 35-year-old was criticised for wearing the fuchsia dress by a non-American designer as her father asked people to “buy American, hire American” during his speech. Off-late Ivanka has been spotted wearing monochrome dresses by various American designers like Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta.
