Australian actress Melissa George is pregnant with her first child with French millionaire internet entrepreneur boy friend Jean-David Blanc. The 37-year-old "Hunted" actress announced the wonderful news on Twitter. The couple has been together since last one year now.

"Baby on the way! So so happy...xx," the happy actress tweeted. The actress had left Twitter in July, for unknown reasons but is now back in full force on the social media platform and shared the news with her fans on the same platform Monday.

George is best known for her work on the TV shows "Friends," "Alias," "In Treatment," "Grey's Anatomy," "Lie to Me" and "Hunted." The prospective parents were spotted kissing at BAFTA after party in 2012 and have been together ever since.

Mellissa, who has also appeared in "Grey's Anatomy", has previously expressed her desire to become a mother.

''I am going to be a mother , absolutely obvious no matter how, when, what. I really am picking the right father for my child. It's very simple. ''Words can't describe, sometimes, things that feel so right. I wouldn't want to butcher it by doing that. I had a marriage, and lots of other things, and they were really, really hard. I had to take a break this year. I thank God he dropped this man into my life,'' she said in an interview with The Daily Telegraph last year, according to Daily Mail.

This blonde Aussie beauty had previously been married to film director Claudio Dabed for almost 13 years but did not have any children.

Her current partner Jean-David Blanc is the founder of AlloCine, a multimedia movie guide service, which provides information on French cinema. The service was launched over the phone and the internet. But Blanc sold his hugely profitable company to Vivendi Universal group and became an active business angel. Since then Blanc invested in many start-ups including Véoprint, I-Dispo, TheCools, Appsfire, Square Inc, according to Le Paris Web.

Here is wishing the mother Melissa a happy and safe pregnancy.
