Margot Robbie, 23, one of the hottest Australian exports to Hollywood, has revealed she lied about her nude scenes to her parents. The "Wolf of Wall Street" star appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday and shared that she "flat out lied" about being naked in the movie.

Jimmy Kimmel said to the actress "you're very naked in the movie ["The Wolf of Wall Street"], for a lot of the film." He asked: "Did they tell you about that going in, or was that a surprise?"

Margot confessed the nude scenes were a "small point of contention" with her family. For a long a time, she made her family believe that she was not doing any nudity.

"I just flat out lied to my family for a really long time. I said, 'I don't care what you hear, there is no nudity, I'm not doing any nudity. Ignore anything anyone's saying, there is no nudity," the actress said.

The "Neighbour" award winning star said she realized her family will eventually find out when the movie comes out so she changed the lie a little.

She told Jimmy Kimmel: "'Well, the movie's going to come out and they'll see there's nudity', so I changed that."

The lie evolved to, "Well actually it's a body double, and they just CGI-ed my head onto someone else," Margot said.

Since her family has nothing to do with the entertainment industry, they believed her lie.

"My family don't have anything to do with the entertainment industry so they totally bought it."

They asked her, "They can do that?"

"Oh, technology these days, you wouldn't believe what they do in Hollywood," the actress said to them.

However, the actress soon came clean on her lie and told them to read the book first before forming any opinion.
