Hugh Jackman has been playing a good guy for real and in films and Mr. Nice Guy has continued to reap recognition for his contribution in films, including the top awards he is set to pick up in Spain and Switzerland this month of September 2013.

Mr. Wolverine is expected to be honoured with two top awards at two separate international film festivals later this month.

On September 27, Hugh is set to be handed the Donostia Award for Lifetime Achievement at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain. Another top award will be presented to the Aussie hunk the following day. He is set to receive the Golden Icon Award at the Zurick Film Festival in Switzerland, where his new film "Prisoners" will be featured at the gala premieres section.

According to the Australian Associated Press, Zurich Film Festival director Karl Spoerri described Hugh as an actor “in a class by himself as a multi-talented entertainer with a global following.”

"There is nothing he can't do and he proves this time and time again with every project he's involved in," Spoerri was quoted as saying in a statement.

Hugh is known best for his role as Logan in X-Men franchise. His latest film The Wolverine has been a great success at the box office and the Australian actor, voted most liked celebrity Down Under in 2013, is reportedly offered $100 million to appear in its sequel. He proved his serious acting prowess in films "Les Miserables" and "Australia", among other films in recent years.
