An Australian woman married a bridge in France with the mayor's blessing. Artist Jodi Rose married Le Pont du Diable Bridge situated in Ceret in the southern part of France after falling in love with the stone structure.

Rose traveled the world to record vibrations of bridge cables for her music but even if she's seen so many bridges, she decided that the Ceret Bridge is the one she will marry.

According to the Daily Mail, Rose or Mrs Le Pont du Diable said, "His being is very present, and I feel at peace in his strong embrace."

Rose added her new husband makes her "feel connected to the earth."

The wedding took place at the bridge itself in front of their 14 guests. The Australian woman wore a white bridal gown that includes a veil and had their rings prepared.

Although the union is not recognized legally, Rose believed her marriage to The Devil's Bridge is strong. She said the bridge has everything she could ever want in a husband.

The minute the new Mrs Le Pont du Diable saw the 600-year-old French bridge, it was love at first sight. Described by Rose as "sensual," the groom was pretty much very quiet on the big day.

She insisted, according to Metro, her love affair with the bridge was symbolic as part of her belief that there is "spiritual vibration in everything."

In 2010, a Korean man reportedly fell in love with his pillow and eventually tied the knot. The ceremony was an intimate affair like that of Rose and the bridge.

Lee Jin-gyu, 28, was so obsessed with his pillow. A friend of the groom said he "takes it everywhere."

The Korean man also ordered meals for his pillow whenever they dine out according to close pals.

In 2009, CNN reported that a Japanese man married a video game character. Nene Anegasaki, a sexy character in the game "Love Plus" was married by a man who called himself Sal 9000. Unlike that of the Australian woman's and the French bridge's wedding, theirs was witnessed by thousands of people online.
