Fans may be seeing more of the bugs that had plagued "Assassin's Creed Unity" just for a little while longer. The expected patch that will be addressing, once and for all, the issues that made the title unplayable has been held off by the developer until an undetermined timeframe.

After a one-day delay, "Assassin's Creed Unity" fans can now enjoy the newest patch, which is quite the big one at 6.7GB. The Patch 4 has finally gone live, and its main goal is to deal with the performance issues and bring an improvement to the entire experience of the game.

The patch enabled the team to replace and update some areas of the Paris city map, which is why the file size of the patch is big. Other issues that the patch will deal with include the following:

- Performance and stability: frame rate drops, game crashes, and lost progression

- Gameplay: navigation and lock picking chests

- Online: connectivity, matchmaking, and companion app

PS4 and Xbox One players should already have access to the latest "Assassin's Creed Unity" patch. PC players, however, need to wait out for a while. The complete list of patch notes can be accessed via this link from the Ubisoft forums.

Just a day ago, the team behind the updates for "Assassin's Creed Unity" announced that they needed to delay the patch because of remaining refurbishments to the Paris map. It looks like the team worked overtime to deliver the patch before fans make any more of a fuss.

With the update now bent at improving the performance of "Assassin's Creed Unity," there's also an interesting feature that players may want to look at in the game. Venture Beat has spotted an interesting feature, which is the Helix menu in the game. Previously, this image has fueled the fire for speculations on the possible explorable worlds.

In reality, however, the menu is just a tool for the Helix program of the Abstergo Corporation. The source introduced the possibility of finding clues for what's to come in the "Assassin's Creed" franchise. But based on what has been leaked about the Victorian era setting for the 2015 iteration, the Helix menu does not hold any clues for that approach.

Check out the different sections of the Helix menu in the link above. Though for players who are looking to explore it in "Assassin's Creed Unity," note that the only functioning tile is the one featuring The Tragedy of Jacque De Maloy.
