“Arrow” season 5 will bring three villains back in the show for an upcoming episode. China White (Kelly Hu) and Cupid (Amy Gumenick), along with Liza Warner (Rutina Wesley), are confirmed to return to the show to bring threat to Star City.

According to a press release for “Arrow” season 5, the three villains will break out of Iron Heights. The girl gang will go hunting for Oliver (Stephen Amell) after the titular hero put them in prison a while back. The revenge will also be coming from a broken heart.

Fans can recall that Cupid has been a love-struck villain with an unhealthy obsession. She had been trying to get Oliver's attention by creating her own archery-themed identity and killing many people. But, the villainess has had no luck.

Now her mantra is to kill more as she has come to believe that there is no such thing as love. Her upcoming team-up with China White and Liza Warner is expected to be intense.

China White, on the other hand, is terribly mad for having to spend time in jail. She was doing well as the top assassin for the Chinese Triads. Eventually, she has become the leader before Oliver/Arrow put him in jail. China White is one of the first villains from the comic book that the show has used. She had several appearances in “Arrow” season 2.

The third member of the newly formed girl group is Liza Warner. “Arrow” viewers would remember her as a cop in Star City. Cinema Blend has noted that she became the leader of a troop of dirty cops in several crimes.

Warner had been accumulating wealth from stealing drugs and equipment. But her happy days have met their demise when the Green Arrow has managed to shut her down. Now, she is determined to get even with the series’ main character. The three villains’ return to the show is expected to happen in this week’s episode of “Arrow.”

“Arrow” airs Tuesdays at 8:10 a.m. on Fox8 in Australia. The second half of “Arrow” season 5 has premiered on Jan. 25 on the CW in the US.

The show has been renewed last month for a sixth season. Other shows that were green lighted by CW for a new season are “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” (season 3), “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (season 3), “Jane the Virgin” (season 4), “The Flash” (season 4) and “Supernatural” (season 13).
