Felicity and Team Arrow have one mission in mind, and that is to take down Adrian Chase. But they have different means on how to do it, and unfortunately for Felicity, she is going against her longtime friends on this one.

In the recent episode 19, the consolidated effort of Team Arrow, ARGUS, SCPD, Homeland Security and the FBI have failed to get a hold of Chase a.k.a. Prometheus. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), on the other hand, still has a chance to locate the villain.

Helix has revealed to Felicity that they can help her track down Chase if she could access the ARGUS network for them. Unaware of Helix's true intention, which is to hack the ARGUS elevator and steal a key card, Felicity did what the group wants. Her actions caused the life of one ARGUS employee inside the elevator when Alena (Kacey Rohl) let it free fall.

Alena then told Felicity that they were going to use the key to free the world’s greatest hacker, Cayden James. Alena told Felicity that Cayden could provide her a biometric tracker that will allow them to finally locate Prometheus. However, they need another key for Cayden to do that.

The key is with another ARGUS agent under the protection of Lyla and Team Arrow. Felicity offered to negotiate with ARGUS for Cayden’s release without casualty, but Helix dismissed her offer. The Helix mercenaries then attacked the agent and her Team Arrow escort. Felicity reached out to John (David Ramsey) and asked him to let the Helix people escape with the security key. John relayed the request to Oliver (Stephen Amell), who ordered his team to stand down.

Then Felicity finally revealed to Oliver, John, and Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) Helix's plan to catch Chase. Lyla slammed Felicity for not considering the collateral damage. Oliver, on the other hand, told her former fiancé that she might be crossing the line. Felicity then decided to stick with Helix’s plan.

Oliver blamed himself for letting Felicity get in too deep with the group. John suggested that Oliver talk to Felicity. At her loft, Oliver asked Felicity not to join Helix’s mission. He promised her that they will find a better way to catch Chase. Felicity did not listen.

Since Lyla was not willing to release Cayden, Team Arrow and ARGUS set a trap to catch Helix during their rescue attempt. At the site where ARGUS held Cayden, a fight ensued.

Towards the end of the fight, Oliver found that Helix is loading Cayden into a van. When the city mayor drew his gun, Felicity stepped in between them and activated the razor fence, putting a barrier between the two teams.

At Helix HQ, Felicity arrived to find the place empty. Alena showed up in a video chat to thank Felicity for all her help, but also firing her because of her ties with the Green Arrow. She added that since ARGUS was after Cayden, Felicity was now a liability to the team. But before Alena cut her alliances with her, she left Felicity with the biometric tracker from Cayden.

Back in the Arrow Cave, Felicity plugged in the tracker. She admitted to Oliver that Helix already dumped her. While arguing, the tracker revealed Chase’s exact location. Prometheus was inside the Arrow Cave! Before Oliver and Felicity could say a word, the place exploded.
