As Apples sets to launch and release its new iPhone 6 this coming September, rumor has it that it will come in 2 screen sizes: the 4.7-inch and the 5.5-inch. The move is to address the needs of individuals who prefer bigger screens similar to those of the android. But it will still come in its original size to cater to those who prefer more compact phones.

Now, Apple has a small predicament in naming the two iPhone 6 sizes. In the past, it has been relatively easy for Apple to name its smartphones from generation to generation. From the first iPhone to the iPhone 5, they have released variations and places suffixes like the letter C or S. For instance, an iPhone 5c would address difference in colors, while an iPhone 5s would indicate 1-step or 2-step upgrades which are a bit more progressive than the iPhone 5. The 'S" seems to be Apple's symbol to emphasize the second generation of a particular model.

In line with this scenario, it would not be impossible to assume that the larger size iPhone 6 will be named iPhone 6L. The "L" would be the key word emphasizing the larger screen according to Business Insider. These are the rumors being peddled by some Chinese websites.

Since Apple's iPhone 6 has been the topic of many rumors, let us not stop there. The site called Apple Daily (via Mashable) claims to have specifications on the batteries too. The larger-sized iPhone 6L is said to be powered by a 2,915 milliamp-hour (mAh) battery while the smaller 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will be packed with 1,810 milliamp-hour-battery. This is a much-needed upgrade compared to the iPhone 5's 1,560 mAh. This is a very welcome improvement considering that many iPhone 5 users generally had to buy and carry back-up power sources to supply their battery-life needs.
