The highly priced yet useful devices by Apple Inc. are often out of the reach of students. But now teachers as well as students can get an iPad or Mac at a discounted rate with Apple Education Discount from the Official Australian Apple Store.

The Cupertino giant has launched a limited time offer, where students can save up to $280 on Mac and $30 on iPad. The available models of Mac include MacBook versions, iMac, Mac Mini and Mac Pro. The discounted pricing for Mac can be availed by any university student, a parent of a university student, a homeschooling teacher and teachers, lecturers and staff members at all levels at any school and university in Australia.

To make a purchase, students can visit the Apple Online Store for Education or avail the discounted rates from any Apple Retail Store and Apple Authorised Education Reseller. To get a detailed overview of the discounted rates of Apple products available for students, users can visit the official Mac Prices Australia website.

Furthermore, Apple has also come up with a promotional finance offer for all qualified Australian residents. The limited time offer says that customers can enjoy a 0% interest for 12 months on all Apple purchases over AU$499, made before Nov. 13, 2015 with any GE Card.

The interest free finance offer for 6 months can be availed on purchases between AU$150 – AU$498. However, it is worth mentioning that iPhone purchases are not included into the promotional finance offer. During the interest free period, minimum monthly repayments must be continued. An interest rate of 22.99 percent will be incurred on the outstanding balance after the interest free period ends.

Moreover, all purchases “must be made at Apple Retail Stores or the Apple Online Store using a GE CreditLine card acquired through Apple or a Buyer's Edge, GE CreditLine, GEM Visa or GO Mastercard,” Apple clarified.
