The highly anticipated 4-inch iPhone 5se has been making headlines over the last few weeks with news about its purported specs and features. Recent rumours regarding the colour of the upcoming iPhone 5se, however, has taken two different routes – one suggesting Apple will keep the ‘gold’ hue in the range, while another indicates Apple will introduce a ‘bright’ pink colour for the new device.

Just three days ago, we had reported that the Cupertino tech giant could opt for a ‘Hot’ or ‘Bright’ pink for the upcoming iPhone 5se, based on a report by Japanese blog Macotakara. But now, 9to5Mac says Apple will not release new colour variants, but instead release the 5se in the same colours that the iPhone 6s was launched with last September - Silver, Space Gray and Rose Gold.

The iPhone 5se is said to be the overhauled version of the iPhone 5s, and is rumoured to come equipped with upgraded features like Apple Pay, improved camera specs, increased storage and an Apple A9 ship.

Apple is also believed to be bringing in the well-accepted Rose Gold colour to its forthcoming iOS devices. These include the next iteration of the iPad Air 2 - the new iPad Air 3 - the next 12-inch MacBook, and iPad Mini.

The tech giant is slated to unveil the new iPad Air 3, iPhone 5se and new series of Apple Watch on March 15. However, the next 12-inch MacBook and iPad Mini may not be launched on the same platform.

The third generation of iPad Air may include a Smart Connector for accessories; a rear-facing LED flash for improved photography, and new speakers. Speculations indicate that the new Apple Watch models will include a Space Black Watch with a Milanese Loop, a new range of NATO-style nylon straps and fresh Sport Band colours.
