Only recently, we reported that the crash rate of Apple iOS 8 is 78% higher than the predecessor iOS 7. Other than the seemingly never-ending crashes, the complaints ranged from battery issues, sluggish Wi-Fi connections to sound issues on iPads after installing the iOS 8 update. However now, we have information suggesting that Apple released a software update to iOS 8 after receiving umpteen complaints from various Apple device owners. Apparently, the next version "iOS 8.0.1 Update" was released and then reverted back after another set of reported problems cropped up.

After installing the iOS 8.0.1 update, users complained about critical bugs that deactivated cellular service. This problem is in addition to the recent criticism of Apple iPhone 6 Plus's accidental bending and fragility issues. Looks like, there is no end to Apple's trouble with the software updates and other marring problems, NDTV reports.

Apparently, the small fix for iOS 8 named iOS 8.0.1 Update also deactivated the fingerprint scanner (aka Touch ID), along with paralysing the network service. Apple told TechCrunch that it has received complaints on the iOS 8.0.1 Update and that the team is working on the reported problems. The company also assured that the follow-up updates will be provided shortly. However, to be on the safer side, Apple has retracted the iOS 8.0.1 Update at this point.

Coming back to iPhone 6 Plus's fragility, Unbox Therapy, a YouTube channel, tested the Apple device to see how much force it can withstand with the help of bare hands. As scary as it sounds, the iPhone 6 Plus is clearly bendable. In a cheeky comparison, Phone Arena points out that, as the name suggests LG G Flex is indeed flexible, however it can regain the shape, but poor iPhone 6 Plus cannot.

After the much-anticipated release of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple confirmed that a total of 10 million units have been sold within the first three days from the launch date, thereby breaking another record for weekend sales. The 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 models are available only in the following countries at this point - United States, Australia, Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Puerto Rico. Plus, 20 more countries can expect to see the release on Sept. 26 and another set of 115 countries towards the end 2014.
