AnTuTu has apparently revealed the top 10 high performing smartphones in Q1 2015 that passed through the benchmark testing site. This report reportedly comprises of data from all over the globe including 160+ countries. And the final results seemingly show the collective average score of every device that visited AnTuTu.

Based on the report from the benchmark testing site, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are the top scorers, while the HTC One M9 apparently comes third. It is worth reminding that, both Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are powered by the same 64-bit, octa-core (Samsung Exynos 7430) processor. On the other hand, the HTC One M9 comes powered by the latest 64-bit, octa-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 810) processor. Quite interestingly, the 2015 flagship Samsung Galaxy S6 has apparently scaled the top spot with better overall score of 67520 points than the flexible-display clad Galaxy S6 Edge with 62373 points. Needless to say, the apparent gap between the two handsets seems significant. However, Phone Arena opines that, the score gap will reduce eventually when more Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge units start visiting the AnTuTu's benchmark testing suite.

Meanwhile, the HTC One M9 has apparently scored 52709 points, followed by Samsung Galaxy S5 with 49355 points. And the top five spot ends with a surprise entry Meizu Mx4, scoring a solid 49305 points.

On the other hand, the AnTuTu site has also reportedly prepared two charts: One, with the details of the chipsets housed in the top 10 devices. Two, report on the aggregated average scores racked up by 5 chipsets with respect to the GPU performance. Speaking of chipsets, 50 percent of the share is reportedly taken over by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and this chipset is apparently followed by Samsung Exynos 7430 with 20 percent share.

As far as the GPU performance goes, Samsung’s Exynos 7430 with Mali-T760 GPU has scaled the top spot. And notably, this is the only chip made with the help of 14 nm process. Samsung’s GPU is reportedly followed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with Adreno 430 and Snapdragon 805 with Adreno 420 GPUs.
