Angelina Jolie was once again put on the spotlight at the red carpet of the recently concluded 84th Academy Awards, adding most attention to her right leg. The 36-year-old actress arrived with Brad Pitt - who was nominated in the Best Actor category for "Moneyball."

Although Brad didn't bag the Oscar, his ladylove definitely got people's attention when she returned to the red carpet with her provocative self. She is back again with her foxy image after being criticized for her poor fashion choices during the promotional tours of her directorial debut movie, "In the Land of Blood and Honey."

Jolie who presented the award for Best Adapted Screenplay chose to wear an Atelier Versace black velvet gown, with a thigh high slit showing majority of her right leg. She combined the look with Neil Lane jewelries and Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe pumps.

Angie's move to show off her limb attracted too much attention but not all of them were positive. While the Oscars was brewing, social networking sites like Twitter heated up comments regarding "Angie's right leg."

Adding up to her leg sensation, a Twitter @AngiesRightLeg account was made devotedly for the actress' limb. As of the moment it has attracted over 19,000 followers who were sharing both mocks and praises.

Angelina's father John Voight defended her daughter during his appearance in Daybreak UK this morning.

"She comes out and does this pose and waits until people get it, it was so great. The audience responded so wonderfully too, with whistles and everything. And then she laughed and took it in and went on with her speech. So who knows? You can never tell about these moments that pop up out of a show like this," Voight said.
