Sydney fans of Angelina Jolie are rejoicing as the Oscar winning actress has arrived in the country for almost three months now with all her six children. The Jolie-Pitt brood touched down at Sydney on Friday morning after a long haul flight from Los Angeles.

Jolie looked gorgeous in black pants combined with a black top and again a black loose cardigan. She finished the look with a pair of casual flip flops and wore her hair down with practically no make-up.

It's brave for Jolie to travel with her six kids and still look as fresh as she did on arrival after such a long flight. According to Nine Network the passengers on the plane were all praises for the "well-behaved kids." The UN goodwill ambassador and her children will reportedly live in a hotel for first month but then shift to a million dollar mansion until Christmas.

Jolie has arrived to direct the movie "Unbroken," which is a true story based on life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner and air force second lieutenant whose plane crashed during World War II in 1943.

Zamperini lived without food and water for nearly 47 days and was captured by the Japanese. His misery did not end here as the brave heart tortured in a prisoner-of-war camp until the end of the war in 1945. Earlier there was speculation in the media that the movie was to be shot in Hawaii but now the location in Sydney.

The "Tomb Raider" star made her directorial debut in 2011 with "The Land Of Blood And Honey," which was nominated for a Golden Globe. "Unbroken" will be her second film as a director.

Sydney seems to already bring good luck for the actress as Angelina Jolie is all set to receive her second Oscar for her contribution to humanitarian work. The actress will be awarded the prestigious honors at the upcoming 5th annual Governors Awards which "pays tribute to individuals who have made indelible contributions in their respective fields."

Jolie will receive the award by the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the same organization which presents the Oscars each year.
