The dress worn by the deceased singer on the cover of her hit album will be auctioned off on Nov.29, and proceeds are to go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

The polka-dotted simple dress, which the late singer wore for the cover shot of her Grammy-winning album "Back to Black," will be hammered off at Kerry Taylor's "Passion for Fashion" auction on Nov.29. The simple and dainty dress was created by Thailand-based designer, Disaya, who was then contacted by the singer's stylist during the planning shoot for the album cover.

The then "not-so-sensational" singer did not have many clothes or ensembles to choose from, and the dress even came back to the designer's warehouse in Asia after Winehouse was shot wearing it. Meanwhile, the album gained huge acclaim and sold 3.2 million copies worldwide, with countless units sold after the singer's untimely death.

After the singer's death, Disaya decided to donate the dress to any cause that would benefit The Amy Winehouse Foundation.

According to a report, the dress "could" fetch up to £10,000 and £20,000, with the full proceeds going to the Amy Winehouse foundation, an organization set up by the singer's parents that will aid youth and adults with drug and alcohol problems.

"In my opinion, what makes this particular dress so special, is that it is an emblematic reminder of the magic voice and sublime talent of Amy Winehouse - a sound that resonates with an entire generation and always will." said Kerry Taylor in a report by The Daily Mail.

"I am pleased to help raise funds for her charity and encourage fans, the music industry and museums the world over to bid with us on November 29th" promoted the Taylor in the same report.

The sensational and talented vocalist with a deep, soulful voice was found lifeless inside her apartment at Camden Square, London on July 23 earlier due to alcoholism.
