Still can’t recover from the most shocking Idol Top Final 2 results of all time in the history of American Idol? Millions of Idol viewers still shake their heads to see Kree Harrison and not Angie Miller facing Candice Glover on Idol’s final showdown. While the idea of Kree holding the mike on Wednesday is just starting to sink in, more equally questions creep to everyone’s mind: How in heaven did Kree Harrison beat Angie Miller on Idol Top Final 2?

While critics reiterate it was supposed to be Angie’s moment on stage and not Kree at the final showdown, there were speculations of what helped Kree advance to Idol’s finale.

They are the following:

1. Faulty American Idol App
There were theories that came out shortly after Angie Miller’s elimination that the 19-year old Idol finalist was eliminated because of the technical glitches suffered by the program’s application that has newly been integrated to reinvigorate more voting and in the end, pump it’s continuously decreasing ratings.

2. Boston Bruins play-off game.
The top final 3 episodes last week coincided with the highly-watched play-offs in Boston. And with more shows to tune to on the week in question, viewers attention was spread too thin, and Angie had to pay the price.

But there are more speculations raised with Angie’s elimination - - ones that have been argued in the past equally shocking eliminations in the past.

3. Southerners Get More Life on Idol than Northeasterners
It looks like America isn’t looking for real talent but someone they could identify themselves to . A strong analysis by Bobby Olivier of The Star Ledger, posted on nj.com, the southerners have it and they beat out the northeasterners.

In his words: "Kree was a lesser singer all season, but as is in most seasons past, the girls with the southern twang almost always last longer than the Northeastern ladies."

4. The Power of the Middle-America country vote has sent Angie Miller packing
Nothing Angie could have done any better when the power of the middle-America vote prevail on Idol. She may have the strong stage presence, the good looks, the extra talent with the piano and the real artist in her as opposed to Kree Harrison. But nothing could prepare her when America decides the girl with the curls and big smiles from Beverly, Mass. is going home.

“This upset, absolutely the largest since Pia Toscano was cut loose early in Season 10, proves the power of the middle-America country vote,” The Star Ledger noted.

With the final showdown just a couple of nights away, the heat is on. Angie is on the other side as she will watch her friends, Kree and Candice battle it out in the finale. Critics claim the final duo is lopsided, with Candice as sure winner, judging by Kree’s real singing talent and her profile of performances on the show. But as always, nothing can be certain in Idol. The only sure thing is, Kree has defeated Angie and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
