The moon is not on Angie Miller’s side on second Top 4 vote night performance on Season 12 of American Idol 2013. The teen singer from Beverly has received some major “criticisms” from the judges in her coverage of Rihanna’s hit song, “Diamonds.” Is Angie Miller in danger to be the next lady to win? Or is that judges’ save still in play?

Angie Miller is feared to go home this week after all the judges on Idol had sung in unison, disapproving her most recent performance. Candice Glover may have stolen the spotlight for two consecutive weeks from Top 7 to Top 5 finals on Idol, but the perky contestant had won the hearts of the audience and the judges on first Top Final Four performance last week. She clearly won the night. But not tonight. Not this week.

The judges weren’t too happy to with her rendition of Rihanna’s hit song after she changed the arrangement of the track and used the piano as she went on stage. The piano has done Angie good in her performances and Gossipcop.com noted this “usually a surefire way for her to get a standing ovation.”

Not tonight. Not this week.

Keith Urban: “I commend you doing an original take on that.”

And for the first time, Angie did not have the right choice of song. Urban pointed it out to her, underscoring how he had expected the song to bring the house down.

Nicki Minaj, “This was different than any other piano performances… It was bland, it was lackluster. You can do a lot better.”

Angie Miller sure didn’t see it coming. The Idol hopeful could be needing the right song to convince the judges on elimination night that she still has what it takes to win it on Idol. Was her performance tonight enough to send her home? Or was her strong performances from Day 1 on Idol are enough to keep and save Angie Miller?
