As it turns out, Donald Trump’s vulgar sexual comments on women were far from being mere “locker room banters” as actress Amber Tamblyn proved the truth behind the Republican presidential nominee’s claim of grabbing women “by the pussy.”

In a Facebook post, the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” star revealed how Trump did just that to her. The 33-year-old actress revealed details of a horrifying sexual assault she experienced from the 70-year-old real estate mogul.

“The minute he saw me, he picked me up with one hand by my hair and with his other hand, he grabbed me under my skirt by my vagina— my pussy?— and lifted me up off the floor, literally, and carried me, like something he owned, like a piece of trash, out of the club,” she shared.

“That part of my body, which Donald Trump recently described as something he’d like to grab a woman by, was bruised from my ex-boyfriend's violence for at least the next week. I had a hard time wearing jeans. I couldn’t sleep without a pillow between my legs to create space.”

Tamblyn’s announcement came after the leak of Trump’s lewd conversation with Billy Bush about kissing women and grabbing them “by the pussy.” In the conversation dating back to 2005, Trump was set for a cameo appearance on the “Days of Our Lives” soap with actress Arianne Zucker.

Following criticisms on the leaked conversation, Trump apologised in a video statement, saying the lewd comments he said about women does not reflect his character.

“I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize,” he said.

“I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am.”

Before the Nov. 8 election day, Trump is set to face his archrival, Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton, for the third and last presidential debate on Oct. 19 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
