Al Pacino has confirmed that he has met with Marvel. The actor didn't really reveal any further details regarding his talk with the studios, but his confirmation led fans to believe that he could have a role in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."

Al Pacino recently sat down for an interview with Josh Horowitz for the latest podcast episode of the Happy Sad Confused. According to Galactic News One, the actor confirmed he has met with Kevin Feige to possibly discuss his role in one of the upcoming Marvel films.

"I've met with the Marvel guy," Al Pacino said. "I would imagine that either there's something he feels is right for me and if I feel..." the actor added, but stopped midsentence when the phone rang. Al Pacino could have possibly hinted of his possible role in a Marvel film. However, he joked it was Kevin Feige on the other line telling him to stop divulging details.

Al Pacino may not have revealed any details regarding his meeting with Kevin Feige, but readers can remember way back when the actor praised James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy." As per Galactic News One, it could have been those compliments that led him to meet with the "Marvel guy." The site supposed Feige finally took notice of the actor's interest to star in a Marvel film. Even Al Pacino couldn't help but joke during the interview that "it's a Marvel how things happen."

According to the International Business Times, Al Pacino raved about "Guardians of the Galaxy" during the Venice Film Festival on Aug. 30. He complimented the film, calling it "ingenious stuff, amazing, entertaining and inventive," among others. Additionally, he also claimed he "would do anything" when asked whether he would like to appear in the sequel or any other Marvel film.

Apparently, James Gunn couldn't have been happier with the actor's reviews. He supposedly wrote back to the actor after reading his comments, telling him he also "admires" the actor. It's believed Al Pacino's feedback and awe with "GOTG," coupled with Gunn's admiration for the actor, may just land Al Pacino a spot in the sequel. As per IBTimes, he may even be cast as Star Lord's father in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." However, no official confirmation have been made yet.
