Hollywood agent Gina Rodriguez is the person handling the showbiz career of 30-year-old Jeremy Meeks who reportedly landed a £20,000 modeling contract after his mug shot from the Stockton police went viral.

Rodriguez, a former porn star, has a knack for handling controversial talents since her pool of talents include Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham; V Stiviano, the former companion of ex-basketball team owner Donald Sterling; and Octomom Nadya Suleiman.

"Jeremy has an amazing look and has received international attention, which I feel can only help him flourish in the entertainment industry," ABC quoted Rodriguez, who estimated he could earn between $3,000 and $100,000 a month as a model.

Meeks is facing 11 illegal possession of firearms and other gun- and gang-related charges, as well as violating his parole. He is in the custody of the Stockton Police Department - which posted his mug shot on it Facebook page and the photo received thousands of likes as well as led to the creation of another Facebook fan page - instead if a $1.1 million bail.

He had spent years in jail for grand theft but insisted that despite what he did in the past, he is not a hardened criminal.

The Santa Monica agency that reportedly signed Meeks the £20,000 contract claimed it could land the handsome felon with chiseled facial features, blue eyes and a teardrop tattoo just below his left eye modeling jobs for Prada, Gucci and other high-end fashion brands.

Meeks, now nicknamed Dreamy McHug, has received hundreds of marriage proposal from women after his mug shot became viral in social media. Reports said that he is a former member of the dreaded Northside Gangster Crips, but his family insisted he has cut his ties with the gang.

If Rodriguez could also get him movie roles after Meeks finishes serving his sentence, he could certainly give Hollywood leading men a run for their money and would likely be given gangster roles.

His face is also the type that could win him a top berth in modeling reality show American's Next Top Model.
