Australian actress from Melbourne Caitlin Stasey, who is best known for playing Lady Kenna in the television series “Reign,” recently talked about her past struggles with body image.

In a new video for the “What's Underneath” project by unique fashion blog StyleLikeU, Stasey, 25, admitted that she did not like wearing bathing suit up until this year. She said, “I would go in the ocean fully clothed because I was like, ‘I'm not buying a bikini, I'm not doing that to myself.’”

Stasey said that she has a very long singlet that she wore for ages. She added that she just pretended that the singlet was a fashion choice, although she was wearing it just because she did not want anyone to see her body.

Despite her prolific career as an actress, Stasey still feels like she does not meet the standard. On the other hand, the “Reign” actress and former “Neighbours” star said she has started to accept herself more.

Like Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia, Delta Goodrem and Hamish Blake, Stasey previously starred in “Neighbours.” Before starring in “Reign” with Adelaide Kane and Torrance Coombs, Stasey played Rachel Kinski in the Australian soap opera from 2005 to 2009.

Aside from “Reign,” Stasey also plays Claire in the TV series “Please Like Me.” She is also set to star in the 2016 comedy-horror film “Fear, Inc.” opposite Chris Marquette and Lucas Neff.
