  • Immersive Virtual Reality

The chipset brings the perfect combination of the powerful new Kyro CPU and Adreno GPU along with 4K screen technology and 3D Audio. This will result in an incredible VR experience in the smartphone.

  • Faster Charging and long battery life

Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 is the fastest and most efficient charging technology introduced to date, claims the company. It’s said to be four times faster than regular charging and 38 percent better than Quick Charge 2.0.

Furthermore, the company’s first custom-designed 64-bit quad-core Kryo CPU will guarantee power management across the entire processor, says Qualcomm.

  • More powerful and cooler handset

The Snapdragon 820 is built with the 14-nanometer FinFET processing tech, which is meant to make the chip run faster and cooler than the 810. The significantly improved thermal efficiency will keep the handset cooler than ever.

  • More security

The advanced Qualcomm Haven Security Suite will provide content protection, theft prevention, Snapdragon Sense ID 3D fingerprint technology and Smart Protect. Snapdragon 820 can automatically detect threats by regularly scanning all the applications running on the smartphone. Smart Protect is used to eliminate identified malware.
