Apple has just confirmed that no significant discounts will be offered from its retails stores this week so buyers need to look elsewhere for that juicy Black Friday deals on iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2.

Good thing giant retailers are jockeying to lure in Apple fans that are looking to shop and take home the latest iOS device line up. The store to head into, according to BGR, is Sam's Club where the iPhone 6 starting price is $99.

$100 slashed from sticker price

Among the major retail players in the United States, Sam's Club iPhone 6 pricing appears to be the most tempting as a $100 discount is set to take effect come Friday week and the implementation is across the board - buyers of the 16GB, 64GB and 128GB models are bound to enjoy the generous price off.

With the discount, Sam's Club patrons will soon toy around with Apple's 4.7-inch flagship and the initial cash damage is only $99. As with other retailer offers, the deal involves a two-year tie up with network service providers.

Best Buy prices

At first glance, it will seem that Best Buy was able to match Sam's Club's Apple product promos as the latter also dangle an identical $99 starting price for the basic iPhone 6. However, BGR is reminding that for consumers to avail of the Best Buy deal, a gadget swap is required.

In other words, the store will only activate the $99 iPhone 6 promo if buyers are willing to exchange an old working iPhone model. The trade in will merit a minimum $100 gift card, which also means that higher value can obtained depending on the condition of the device that shoppers will surrender.

It is unclear if the same gift card will be credited to the iPhone 6 purchase and if that is the case, buyers can still get extra shopping credits that they can then use on device accessories.

$104 iPhone 6 at Walmart

Now for straightforward deal, the choice is none other than Walmart that boasts of over 5000 stores across the United States. About half of those outlets will sell the iPhone 6 for only $104 after the initial discount and the credit of a Walmart gift card that carries a $75 value.

To further sweeten the deal, Walmart has earlier declared that shoppers need only to point on specific Amazon price promo and the giant retailer gave assurance that the deal will be matched. The offer is also available for online shoppers with the delivery free of charge.

Apple deals

As mentioned, there's no reason to celebrate on Apple's announced and official Black Friday deals as the tech giant is only willing to give away gift cards of $50 for iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 buyers. According to Business Insider, the amount cannot be used as discount for iDevice purchases.

"Those gift cards can be used on iTunes, the Mac App Store, the App Store, and the iBooks store," the news site added.
