Britain and the world are mourning the loss of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who died Monday morning at the age of 87. Her children, Mark and Carol Thatcher, said the former PM died of stroke.

Ms Thatcher, known for her strong will was dubbed the Iron Lady. She ruled Britain from 1979 to 1990 and made history as the country's first and so far only female prime minister.

Because of her role in transforming Britain's economy, she has been dubbed as the country's Wonder Woman

or Superwoman.

Her toughness is legendary

as well as her coiffed hair and strong facial features, that many MPs and world leaders fear crossing her path.

She has been compared to tough monarch

And will forever be known as the Iron Lady, which was become a hit movie.
