'The 100' season 4 episode 10 preview: Battle begins
The big battle among the various tribes on earth will begin soon. The preview video of the next episode teases some of the scenes that the fans will get to see. The pace has just quickened, and the show will send the pulse of the fans racing with all the action in the arena. The following article contains spoilers.
After King Roan’s (Zach McGowan) sudden move to use the Conclave to choose the tribe that gets the newly discovered bunker, one champion from each group will fight to the death in the arena in the next episode. The Skaikru will also take part in this bizarre ritual, knowing that the shelter is big enough to accommodate everyone.
Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) will be fighting for the Skaikru in the Conclave. She channeled her inner warrior in the previous episode, and will be putting her talents to good use now, despite the fact that she didn’t feel quite at home with the people from the Ark.
In the preview video, Bellamy (Bob Morley) tells Octavia that she doesn’t have to do this. However, only she can give Skaikru a genuine chance at getting the bunker, and her participation gives the tribe confidence that they will win. However, Roan doesn’t agree with the possibility of her winning, especially since he himself will be participating in the Conclave.
The battle itself will be a tough one, with emotions running high all around. Octavia will have to face Ilian (Chai Hansen), someone that she has grown close to, and also Indra (Adina Porter), who is like a mother to the young warrior.
The conflict between The Ice Nation and the Tree people is the root of all the present problems. In another video released online [see below], Executive Producer Jason Rothenberg teased that this conflict between the two tribes will come into focus a little more as the story progresses.
One twist in the plot is the presence of Luna (Nadia Hiker) in the Conclave. She has had enough of all this, and it seems like she is not going to allow anyone to enter if she manages to win in the arena somehow, which means certain death to everyone when the radioactive storm - Prime Fiya comes in five days.
“The 100” season 4 episode 10 is promising to be an action packed thriller for the fans. Will good sense prevail after battle and lead to some form of harmony between the tribes? So far, the leaders of the different tribes, especially Indra, have refused to get over their personal issues and see the bigger picture of humanity’s last chance at survival.
