It's finally July meaning 2012 is halfway over. With "The Amazing Spiderman" finally spinning its' way onto the big screen, this leaves fans with a few films worth watching out for. Here are the top ten films to look forward this half of the year.

First up is "The Dark Knight Returns". With Anne Hathaway strutting her bad ass in a tight black leather suit and Christian Bale back as Batman, it has definitely got fans hyped for its' release. The film is set to hit theatres worldwide by July 20, 2012.

August appears promising with three action packed films set for a big screen release. First up is the film remake of "Total Recall" starring Collin Farrell, Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale. The film is set for an August 3 release.

Another film set to hit the big screen on August 3 is "The Bourne Legacy" starring Jeremy Renner, Rachelle Weisz and Edward Norton.

The highly-anticipated sequel to "The Expendables", "The Expendables 2" is set for an August 17 release. An action packed film with a hell of an action packed cast namely Liam Hemsworth, Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris.

The film adaptation to Stephen Chobsky's best-selling novel, "Perks of Being a Wallflower" hits theatres by September 21. It stars "Harry Potter's" Emma Watson and "Percy Jackson's" Logan Lerman.

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone make a comeback in the action-packed classic film remake of "Gangster Squad". The film is set for October 19.

"The James Bond" series returns for an all new range of awesomeness in "Skyfall". Daniel Craig returns as James Bond and the film is set for a November 9 release.

Another highly-anticipated film by November is the finale to the "Twilight" series, "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2". Starring Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart, the film takes off where the last one ended with Kristen Stewart now fully transformed as a vampire. The film is set for a November 12 release.

Coming in at December are two kick-ass films namely "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" and "The Great Gatsby". J.R.R. Tolkien's book turned film takes fans back to the world of hobbits and elves. The film is set for a December 14 release.

Last but not the least is the classic take on "The Great Gatsby" which stars Leonardo Di Caprio, Carey Mulligan and Toby Maguire.
