Hollywood Celebrities have to be the best at everything which is why actors go from acting to dancing to singing. The same thing goes for musicians who have not only ruled the Grammys to Worldwide stages but the big screen as well. Lately, A-list celebs gifted with powerful vocals have been working on a few movies on the side of which include Maroon 5's, Adam Levine plus a few more.

Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Adam Levine, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna all have two things in common - music and movies. These celebrities know that to make it big in Hollywood, being a double or triple talented threat is the way. So what better way to make it big than to make music and movies?

Country crooner, Taylor Swift, may have Grammy awards to show off. However, this cutie also has a few tricks up her sleeve. The 21-year old showed off her acting skills in the 2010 film, "Valentine's Day" opposite then-boyfriend, Taylor Lautner.

Following in Swift's footsteps are former Disney stars, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus. Taking a break from the music scene, 19-year old, Selena Gomez filmed three movies this year namely "Spring Breakers", "The Getaway" and "Hotel Transylvania". On the other hand, Miley Cyrus, daughter to singing sensation, Billy Ray Cyrus, had a few films of her own. These include the 2010 film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' "The Last Song" and Miley's most recent film, "LOL".

Selena Gomez's beau, Justin Bieber, is also working on his debut film with Mark Wahlberg. While Justin is busy with his "Believe" tour, Wahlberg is working on the script for a "basketball movie" the teenage heartthrob is set to star in.

Rn'B princess, Rihanna, also joins the group of musicians venturing into film. Rihanna's acting debut started out with Peter Berg's directed film, "Battleship" where Rihanna starred opposite Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker and Taylor Kitsch.

Despite a divorce that shocked fans, family and friends earlier this year, Katy Perry has moved on with billboard topping music hits. Now, Katy has her eyes set on box-office hits as well with her film, "Katy Perry: Part of Me".

The latest addition to the group is "The Voice" host and Maroon 5 front man, Adam Levine. Levine is set to star in a big screen film, "Can a Song Save Your Life?" opposite Keira Knightley. The film isn't the only thing fans of the hot singer should look forward to because Adam is also part of Ryan Murphy's second installment to "American Horror Story".

Music and movies are two things intertwined in Hollywood. To make it big, celebrities don't just need a pretty voice but impressive acting skills as well.
