'Yurei Deco' Episode 1 Live Stream Details, Plot, Release Date [Spoilers]

The Love score of Tom Sawyer Island gets blown away whenever Phantom Zero appears. There is no Love in the presence of Phantom Zero.

The anime "Yurei Deco" is based on Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Episode 1 introduces the titular characters Berry and Hack, who join forces to learn more about Phantom Zero, a mysterious figure that roams underground Tom Sawyer Island.

Love is crucial for the people of the island and it is like money that they use for getting a variety of things.

"The citizens of the data-managed society of Tom Sawyer Island use the sensory immersion technology called Deco in order to interact with the virtual spaces known as the Hyperverse as part of their daily lives. The Love score is used to accredit everything on the island, and its citizens spend their lives in pursuit of Love," read the official synopsis of "Yurei Deco" anime. "But the island is also plagued by cases where all Love values are voided, the Zero Phenomenon, thought to be caused by the mysterious Phantom Zero!"

An average girl named Berry meets Hack and her crew, who call themselves ghosts. They all team up to form the Ghost Detective Club in order to solve the mystery of Zero Phenomenon and Phantom Zero.

The cast of the anime includes Mira Kawakatsu as Berry, Anna Nagase as Hack, Miyu Irino as Finn, Rie Kugimiya as Smiley, Sayuri Sadaoka as Madam 44 and Setsuji Satoh as Hank.

The anime, directed by Tomohisa Shimoyama, is based on the original concept by Dai Sato and Masaaki Yuasa. The scripting is by Kimiko Ueno and Dai Sato.

The music for "Yurei Deco" anime is composed by Kotaro Saito, Mito and Yebisu303. Akira Honma is the character designer, while Fuminao Akai is roped in for art direction.

Soichiro Kubo is credited as the sound director and Hikari Ito and Yoshihiro Sekiya are the directors of photography.

"Yurei Deco" Episode 1 is scheduled to debut this Sunday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. The installment will live stream in the Japanese with English subtitles.
