WWE: Rusev and Lana officially wed; Diva Natalya's help detailed

WWE has its share of couples, both in and out of the ring. One of the most prominently recognised power-duos is that of Lana and Rusev, who recently tied the knot in Malibu Beach, California.

The newly-wed athletic couple was known to have gone through ups and downs in the past, which allegedly led to speculations of break-ups. This worked for both their real-life relationship and for that of the entertainment side.

According to WWE.com, the couple was confirmed to have sealed the deal on Monday. In relation to the event, Lana spoke of her experiences along the way, which included the participation of her friend and co-diva, Natalya.

“Nattie actually helped me with a lot of different ideas,” the WWE superstar said. “This might come as a surprise, but NattIe is very traditional [laughs] and while helping me plan the wedding she wanted all these traditional things and I’m like, ‘No!’ She would say, ‘This is what people do, this is how people plan their weddings,’ and I’d say, ‘I don’t care what people do, I don’t wanna do everything that already has been done.’ So, we would hit heads quite a bit during those discussions and I’m sure people will see that on E!’s Total Divas.”

For those unaware, the “Ravishing Russian” Lana has been a fan favourite since her appearance in the main roster. The superstar is known for her escorting of the “Bulgarian Brute” Rusev, usually speaking in behalf of the powerhouse athlete.

The couple’s wedding is scheduled to appear in “Total Divas,” as seen in 411 Mania. Other details on the pair’s supposed honeymoon are yet to be disclosed, though there are speculations that say both athletes are taking a break from wrestling. For the time being, both superstars have stayed mum on their next and future plans as husband-and-wife.
